Terms of Use

Last updated: October 27, 2026

Welcome to Learn Hebrew. By using the app or website you agree to these terms. If you use Learn Hebrew for a child, you agree to them as the child's parent or guardian.

Who can use Learn Hebrew

Learn Hebrew is open by invitation: a parent signs in and asks for access, and we may approve or decline any request, or end access, at our discretion. It is designed for children to use with a parent or guardian. Parent accounts are for adults (18+). A parent is responsible for setting up child profiles and for how their children use the app.

Your account

To use Learn Hebrew you need a parent account (sign in with Google) that we have approved. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under it. You can delete your account and data at any time from the Parents area.

Access and fees

Access to Learn Hebrew is by invitation and approval only. Anyone can sign in, but the app opens only after we approve the family.

Privacy

How we handle information, especially children's, is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are part of these terms.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse Learn Hebrew: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt the service, copy the app or its content for commercial use, or use it for anything unlawful.

Content and credits

The app, its lessons, characters (including Duki), design and code belong to Learn Hebrew. You may use them for personal, non-commercial learning. Some parts come from others under their licences: pictures from Microsoft Fluent Emoji (MIT License); the Alef typeface by HaGilda and Mushon Zer-Aviv (SIL Open Font License); the Fredoka, Rubik and Varela Round typefaces (SIL Open Font License); and voices generated with ElevenLabs.

Learning results

Learn Hebrew is a learning aid. We work hard to make it accurate and helpful, but we don't promise specific learning results, and speech recognition can make mistakes.

The service "as is"

Learn Hebrew is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms; we'll update the date above and tell you about important changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Learn Hebrew at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without limiting mandatory consumer rights where you live.
