We want every child and parent to be able to use Learn Hebrew, including people with disabilities.
What we do
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and the Israeli Standard IS 5568.
Every instruction is spoken aloud and shown as text, and can be replayed.
Large tap targets, clear contrast and simple layouts, designed for small hands and for phones, tablets and computers.
A full right-to-left Hebrew interface and an English interface.
Speaking exercises can always be skipped, and "Can't talk now" turns them into listening exercises.
Buttons are labelled for screen readers.
Known limits
Some games rely on pictures, sound or dragging. Where we can, we offer another way to play (tapping instead of dragging, replaying the audio). We keep improving this.
